Following another humbling at the hands of Australia in Sydney, England slumped to a 5-0 whitewash in this winter's Ashes series. A fired up pace attack and effective batting proved too much for the travellers, with Ben Stokes' late emergence with bat and ball a late highlight.

It has meant much for the Trent Bridge Fantasy Cricket table, though. Players backing the Aussies from day one have flourished, with Mitchell Johnson finishing the series as the Most Valuable Player (scoring 1390 points). Ryan Harris (842) and Stuart Broad (830) ranked second and third respectively, Broad the only England player to score more than 700 points.

This means that Darren Ferris' Infamous Five takes home the grand prize from our Fantasy Cricket competition, his team selection of Mitchell Johnson (Captain), Brad Haddin, Peter Siddle, David Warner and Chris Rogers the only team to score in excess of 5,000 points.

Honourable mentions must also go to Peter Bales, Craig Brennan, Edmund Wakeley and Simon Kitchener, who round out our top five.

Simon Webster topped the scoring for Trent Bridge's professional cricket staff, finishing ahead of Mick Newell and Michael Lumb.

Our final spot prize, rather than awarded for another high-scoring Test, we would like to award to our favourite team name. While many tickled, the leftfield entry of 'Shane Watson Ate My Hamster CC' by David Took claims our final prize.
